“When Second Chance School showed that they believed in me – I started to do it too”
Linda initially wanted to become a plumber, but a study visit at a Glazier company opened her eyes for the glass industry. She tried on, and it felt just right for her and she started the vocational training to become a Glazier.
Her work placement was a small company in Norrköping. She also got the opportunity to try her skills for a few weeks on a work placement in Dublin, by a mobility project in the Leornado da Vinci programme. There, her efforts were highly appreciated, and she received many positive experiences that raised her self confidence and self esteem.
After less than two successful years in SCS, she became employed on her work placement..
